Toooooo much schoolwork. I'm not enjoying myself.
I should pretend I'm in a country where I can't afford a decent education.
Oh, wait. I am.

Yesterday I went over to a friend from school's house and hung out with her and some guy - I haven't figured out whether or not they're together. She has two friendly cats and a big lovey-yet-flatulent female Rottweiler named Bailey. We watched South Park and various robot fighting match shows. I saw lots of rabbits in her 'hood, they were brown and white and fluffy and cute. I did NOT see the Leonid meteor shower, damn it, because it was too cloudy outside.

Today I dragged myself reluctantly out of bed, went to Kinko's and got copies, went to Target and got some more xmas lights (glittery snowmen with blue scarves, and Hello Kitty in a pink snowsuit), and some other things. Also a 2-ft tall tree with pre-attached lights for the hotel room; we haven't had a christmas tree in three years, so it will be nice to have even this little tabletop model. Since I got home, I've been working on school stuff or looking for reasons not to work on school stuff. None of the things I need to finish are that complicated, they're just tedious and I complicate them through procrastination.

I cannot find a copy of Adam Ant's "Strip" on Audiogalaxy. This is a tragedy of, if you will pardon the pun, intergalactic proportions. Guess I'll have to shell out for the hits cd.
My AIM friends are all absentee. It's like they are allergic to the internet! Everyone is getting stressed out because the semester is ending soon. Nathalie (hyper_ballad) did an art show this weekend and was really disappointed because she lost money. The rest of us just have the usual amount of work to do, and feel like we're all running out of time. We all look pasty and have big undereye circles from not sleeping enough. (and those of you who are not in school have fewer excuses or something.)

Over the last few days, I won two dresses on ebay that I was itching for. I've finally learned how to use esnipe.com to my advantage. These are my first ebay clothing purchases, so I'm kind of... nervous.

I got up early today thanks to the insistent prodding of B-cat's claws. He wanted into my mother's bedroom and couldn't get the door open. I was up for a few hours, went back to bed for a long nap, and got up just in time to go to class. Personally it was a nice class - Lynn was showing me how intaglio printing works - but artistically it was a downer. I wasn't at all happy with the three drawings I worked on. One is just OK, the other two are absolutely terrible.

I've decided that I'm GOING to take Printmaking next semester, I'm determined, screw the cash, I'll charge it and sell off some unused furniture (I have a whole bedroom set I am not using). My mom wants me to take the semester off and work on my portfolio and on getting the house on the market. I think if I have just one or two classes it'll be fine, especially if I audit something.
Hey, the actress who played the punk girl, Scarlet, in Four Weddings and a Funeral died on Saturday of a massive asthma attack. Her name was Charlotte Coleman and she was 33. She was also in Oranges are Not the Only Fruit and a bunch of other BBC things. I think it's very sad; I thought she was cool.
