verbminxMy AIM friends are all absentee. It's like they are allergic to the internet! Everyone is getting stressed out because the semester is ending soon. Nathalie (hyper_ballad) did an art show this weekend and was really disappointed because she lost money. The rest of us just have the usual amount of work to do, and feel like we're all running out of time. We all look pasty and have big undereye circles from not sleeping enough. (and those of you who are not in school have fewer excuses or something.)
Over the last few days, I won two dresses on ebay that I was itching for. I've finally learned how to use esnipe.com to my advantage. These are my first ebay clothing purchases, so I'm kind of... nervous.
I got up early today thanks to the insistent prodding of B-cat's claws. He wanted into my mother's bedroom and couldn't get the door open. I was up for a few hours, went back to bed for a long nap, and got up just in time to go to class. Personally it was a nice class - Lynn was showing me how intaglio printing works - but artistically it was a downer. I wasn't at all happy with the three drawings I worked on. One is just OK, the other two are absolutely terrible.
I've decided that I'm GOING to take Printmaking next semester, I'm determined, screw the cash, I'll charge it and sell off some unused furniture (I have a whole bedroom set I am not using). My mom wants me to take the semester off and work on my portfolio and on getting the house on the market. I think if I have just one or two classes it'll be fine, especially if I audit something.
