you're welcome
Nov. 20th, 2006 11:53 pmHeroes tonight was more or less predictable, but I'd be surprised if I was the only person who, just after the flurry of text messages between Claire and her nerdy swain, piped up,
Im on ur lawn, throwin ur stonez!

american accents
Nov. 2nd, 2006 03:38 amFor what it's worth, this is pretty accurate, except in real life I have a slight tinge of a "valley girl" accent and sometimes spout the occasional Southernism.
What American accent do you have? Your Result: The Midland "You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio. | |

Tom got Claire as his top result and is really traumatized, wishing he'd been Jack or Sawyer. I was sure that I was going to end up as Shannon - we have really similar backgrounds - but apparently I'm not bitchy enough. ;)

Aug. 20th, 2005 07:26 amSo a while ago
ragdoll posted what looked like a fun meme, and I think a few other ppl have posted it since then.
Go to eLouai's DollMaker. Make a doll of yourself, trying to stay as close to what you really look like. Then, make another. MarySue!You. Extra points for wings.
It took me a while to get around to this, because I've been busy pretty much since the meme was posted, and it can take a while to sort through all the options on CandyBar to find features like yours and clothes that look somewhat like what you wear. Also, I had one big problem here: I don't generally write fanfic, and when I write I-actually-OWN-this-thanks fiction, I go out of my way not to make MarySues... I suppose every character is a little bit me, but I'm conscious to not insert "myself" in the story. So the second doll is the main character from something I've worked on for a while, or at least as much like her as it's possible to do with that program.
( and now for a brunette. )
