Mar. 15th, 2002 12:44 amAck, my head hurts. I think I forgot to take my Paxil yesterday... I've spent the last few hours feeling woozy and nauseous. I did take a pill, but I don't think I'll feel right until tomorrow.
Also contributing to the headache is the eye appointment. It was today, it was OK. I did not get my mom's nice doctor, but another guy, who was nice but... weird. My left eye is not up to speed, but my vision is still technically 20/20. 20/20 with an astigmatism and farsightedness.
I picked out new glasses which are so NOT what I thought I'd get. I went in with the idea of getting something nerdy but cute, and I ended up with these... well, I'll have them in 10 days and you'll see a picture then. They look sort of like horn-rimmed glasses for girls, but they're a lightweight matte/frosted dark goldenbrown metal. Sort of... technoemo. I have a large head (SHUT UP) and the glasses I had originally wanted were not available in a large enough size. I also threw a mild passive-aggressive hissyfit to get service, and as a result almost got a discount! (I had another, larger discount coming anyway, and honestly, immature attention-seeking behavior should NOT be rewarded with 25% off discounts. Yes, I waited a really long time to see someone and was pretty much ignored for a while. But all I wanted was to get my order in. Getting out of that place was a reward in itself.)
After that I went and picked up my beading supplies at the craft store. Fifty bucks. I am certainly not holding you "yes/maybe/probably" people to it, but boy, I hope someone eventually wants to buy some of these bracelets I'm working on! :) After I got home tonight I made the first two, which are both really pretty. I have also been working on special charms. All the bracelets I make will be one-of-a-kinds, though I may reuse similar designs. The ones I made tonight will probably go for around $12 each, postpaid.
While I was working on that stuff I worked on catching up on Buffy... we haven't watched the five most recent episodes. We watched the first three (starting with "Dead Things" and going up through "As You Were" - aka Riley Is A Prick), and still have two left before we're all caught up.
Now I am going to bed, because ow damn does my head hurt.
Project for tomorrow: look extremely businesslike while ripping Bank of America a new asshole.
