Feb. 5th, 2001 06:38 amI just woke up.
Thank you, Midol-PMS.
I have been asleep for 18 of the last 24 hours, though not consecutively. For the last six I've had cats piled all around me (B-cat and D-cat).
Before I fell asleep again last night, I played Bejeweled on Level 1 and got a score of 8655! That's my best yet. I don't like the other levels; they're too stressful. Level 1 allows you to zone out and operate on a different cognitive level, where you look for colors and shapes; there's no adrenaline/competitive element, just methodically and somewhat mechanically rearranging. I like that. I used to clean the bathroom when I was upset; now I have found something (along with MahJongg matching tile games) that allows me to just zone out without my back hurting.
I still haven't installed The Sims yet.
What to do today? I have the fine choices of laundry, homework, housework, or none-of-the-above. I think it'll end up having to be a-little-of-each-of-the-above, with an emphasis on homework. Heaven only knows what my mother is going to do with the car... but I know she won't be up til like noon.
*blink*
Or I could just go back to sleep...
/me wanders off to find some awake-making green tea.
