Oct. 27th, 2000 01:56 amI just woke up not too long ago. strange. I slept so poorly for the first few hours... until 630 I think I woke up every few minutes. Then I woke up once around 11, and then a little after 1. At 130 I gave up and got up.
Dreams of people I haven't seen in ages storing cocaine (!?!) in picture frames at a party at my house and me wanting to try a little (I've never done drugs... I don't even drink unless I'm out on the town). Dreams of having special report topics assigned and of doing calisthenics with a large group of women. Dreams of Luscious Jackson being a sort of mad luge-ing superwoman team, and me having to do a report on them and perform some of their tricks. Dreams of being assigned a different report at the last minute and having to learn all kinds of rituals. Dreams of more and more exercise. Dreams of being able to take on the powers of any of the dozens of heros of a specific anime team, but only in the same academic situation. Dreams of buses and pet bats for sale that would hop on your finger like a little bird and nuzzle up to you (I want one!)... and dreams of the bus route being confused, taking us to the wrong place, breaking down. Dreams of going from department to department in an office or store and watching a BlackAdder-like "office comedy" happen. so many dreams I had last night... but if it hadn't been for my little kitty curled firmly against the backs of my legs when I woke up, I think I would have been terrified. It makes no sense. Nothing does in the past day or two.
My cardamon cinnamon tea is steeping. I ate a chocolate-almond Clif Bar, which tasted remarkably like a slightly moister Power Bar Harvest in Chocolate, or a less-fruity version of the chocolate-raspberry Odwalla bar I had the other day.
so much to do... in the morning I will head to the laundromat, and order my medicine from the pharmacy, and take the big computer down to find out what's wrong with it, something I have been meaning to do for days.
Until then, I will probably read and watch movies. Or put together furniture. Or do housework. Or perhaps even go back to sleep.
I wish I had a few more pairs of hands.
