my hair is steeping in Blood Red Special Effects dye, so it looks like I've been bludgeoned. Naked with plastic wrap around my hair. what a scene!

watching Guinevere, which is a pretty good movie. eating a huge tasty Espresso Chocolate Chip cookie, by the Alternative Baking Company.

(and before you ask, no, I'm not vegan. I eat a lot of vegetarian and organic food, but I also eat poultry and even, on rare occasions, beef. no pork or seafood. A lot of vegans rub me the wrong way as people - well, any kind of zealot rubs me the wrong way, usually, and that's the issue, though there are also tons of nice veggie people out there too. I can't be vegan or even vegetarian because I have some complicated digestion/metabolization issues I won't go into. But that doesn't stop me from loving organic enchiladae with toru and corn and beans and zucchini! :)

am no longer bludgeoned-looking. have RED hair and stained scalp/neck/ears/nails etc. lying in bed nekkid wrapped in a towel. about to lotionify.

cleaned the bathroom a bit, too, but now everything has to be bleached again - i was so proud of myself a few weeks ago when i cleaned that.

i am hungry. maybe a bagel is in order.

this entry has no excuse for existence except that i no longer have crazymaking goop in my hair and am proud.

read the comments on the last entry for an amusing sidenote. the splendid obsidian is concerned about or interested in my sleeping "habits" (i say that like there is a pattern, when in fact i just sleep whenever i can! :)

i wandered over to next planet over, intent on seeing if I could catch up on my Transmetropolitan collection.

I can. I'll still be missing #34, though. Will have to talk to the comic shop guys about that. I haven't been in there in six months.

I'm also picking up the Death Beanie Baby and a Nightmare Before Xmas "Zero" necklace, neither of which I can really afford... but I am a big collector of NMBC stuff and of Sandman stuff, so... mom can give them to me for xmas or something, I don't know.

But what I found and rilly want and simply cannot bring myself to purchase for myself is the Madman lunch box! Madman is about the most adorable comic I can think of; I've been a fan since 1994 but fallen away from it somewhat as it has been hard to find at times. Anyways, click HERE if you want to see the lunchbox. it's so rad that it's rad-ioactive. (doh!) I like the zippo lighter too, but A)i don't smoke, and B)if I were going to get a zippo, I would get one from Smoke King with the little SHAG kitty on it or something like that. I love the SHAG kitty and have even considered him for a tattoo.

going to sleep. screw going out. i can do all that this evening or even tomorrow afternoon if i am awake. or monday evening after my mom gets home. whatever.

I've been awake for quite a while, a few hours, and mostly just dithering. I am very hungry. I don't feel good at all, so instead of going out and doing Stuff like I had planned, I'm just going to sit at home doing the usual things. The B-cat is asleep at my side and I have a couple of rooms to finish straightening out. So, that is what I will be up to.

I didn't really want to go out tonight anyways. It's homecoming weekend at my highschool alma mater. The neighborhood is almost guaranteed to be full of drunken underage drivers.
