after my last entry, scary scared, I watched Ever After because it was on, and fell asleep towards the end. I love that movie, in spite of the problems with it...
so I've been asleep since sometime between 7AM and 8AM! I just passed out and snuggled up. If I had dreams they weren't terribly vivid or interesting. My little kitty guarded me the whole time, with the help of the B-cat (though just a few minutes ago they fought over who got to be on the bed, and the B-cat lost). Oh wait! I did have dreams. They were mostly of vintage shopping in a cool store and of meeting some interesting people who lived around here and of this one friend of mine who I haven't seen in like two and a half years and who always aggravated me. She was working in the store the second time I was there, and she took a dress she knew I wanted to try on and tried it on herself and did something in it like getting her hair done or something, but I did get the dress and it was in fine condition. This is entirely realistic... she's like that, she would do that. There was also a point where I was standing outside and a dirty old man came by on a bike and started saying dirty old man things to me, and I just went off on him, my usual speech about society being fucked up and how dare he say those things to me. I punctuated it by hitting him over the head with a rolled-up magazine.
So, for the moment, I am content. I need to go get my antibiotics and dry some of my endless amounts of laundry. That's the plan for now... well, after a cup of tea and some contemplation.

But I'm glad you're feeling better. Don't let the antibiotics drag you down too much, remember, acidophilus and fresh veggies.
Making soothing ocean noises....
(but "Ever After"? Ick.)
ever after...
on the other hand, it makes me happy.
and drew looks a lot like what i used to look like when I was younger in that movie. her hair is a little darker. the ball scene, where she's in the costume, especially looks like me.
and i had a wicked stepfather.
and i just identify with the movie in certain ways.
