Just got home.
I am very bad... I skipped class today. It was supposed to be my first time back in Design, and I didn't go.
There was some reasoning though... there was something that I absolutely *had* to do today, and I suspected that I might be too tired after class. Also, when I got to the point where I had to turn onto the road my school is on, I looked down in that direction and the sky was completely black. It was relatively clear in the other direction, and I didn't feel like dealing with the kind of rain I was sure I'd encounter in the last ten minutes of the drive.
So I drove in the other direction and eventually ended up at the mall, where I indulged in some intense self-love. (You see, if learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all, I try to buy my own affection. It usually works, as long as I don't overdo it.) I went to Penney's and got a cute pair of atomic-design flannel PJs, a long-sleeved orange Powerpuff shirt that says "SUGAR SPICE and everything nice" and is all glittery, a pair of slipper socks with a happy star on them and glittery stars for tread, and a glittery "Josie and the Pussycats American Tour" tshirt. I got two books for the ones I was taking back, and successfully resisted the new hardcover Michael Chabon and Kazuo Ishiguro books. & I lost my debit card, which means I am going to give the bookstore tonight to find it, and if they don't, I'm going to cancel it tomorrow morning.
(also, my package came from Origins... scrubby things. I just heart credit cards.)
Then I went to the grocery store and bought a conspicuously bizarre assortment of food: a couple of Luna Bars in assorted flavors, the largest box of Cheerios they sell, a box of Ritz whole wheat, a container of cut fruit, and (glory glory hallelujah) a (6?8?)pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade. Yes, kids, it has made its way to Florida. Me + Mike = trouble. As I was checking out I started laughing because I realised that I looked like a drunk with the munchies.
Now I am just talking to Ragdoll on AIM and wishing that my cramps weren't this bad. The rain hasn't stopped. I'm tired and headachy. A certain young man owes me email and I am beginning to get pouty and miss him, but longdistance relationships suck & I don't want to be in one, so maybe it is better if we pay less attention to each other rather than more.

Re: Luna Bars
The Luna Bars, OTOH, are designed to be more like ViActiv... just a "women's nutrition" bar to help you get all your vitamins and minerals in a palatable base.
I don't think they are a good meal substitute, but they are a pretty satisfying snack! :) the grocery store didn't have Chai Tea flavor.
