Now, I love The Waitresses' original version of Christmas Wrapping, and I thought Save Ferris's version was going to be a straight cover. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to have completely different lyrics! It's great, it's about a Jewish girl who's had it up to "here" with Christmas. Check it out if you get the chance. I love their cover of Christmas Wrapping.. the Waitresses version made my Xmas CD last year (that I intend to actually make copies of and distribute this year) and I kept the Save Ferris version for my personal stash..
The lack of good christmas songs that haven't been killed by over playing is scary.. and how about the spice girls cover of Christmas Wrapping.. make you wanna crawl into a bucket and die or what?
