Yesterday and today much the same: grilling dinner, then playing a game outside on the patio. I won last night's game of Phase10 (a card game similar to rummy), which had carried over from July 4th.
I believe tonight we're going to try playing Dread Pirate, the "bookshelf game" that I got for my birthday in May. Problem is that it has a fabric game board that is about the size of the table out there... and the table has an umbrella running up the center. I suppose after dinner we'll just move the umbrella base to the outside of the table.
After Tom went home last night, the momster and I went out for coffee, and she spontaneously decided to drive all the heck over the outer edges of the city in our quarter of it, looking at apartments, which was pretty annoying as it was after 10PM and I thought we'd only be out for 30 minutes or so. I don't like the outer belt of Columbus... it's basically retail sprawl if you're lucky. Sometimes there isn't even that much.
Oh, well, time for me to go stick some bamboo skewers through some onions and mushrooms, then start the fire on the grill.
At some point between today and tomorrow,
craftyminx needs to get SIX POSTS. We'll see how that pans out. (I have a lot of library books due tomorrow. I might write out the reviews but not post them all at once.)
