I woke up for real at like 3. Must take B-cat into his kitty hotel soon, and take laundry to be dried. Today is mostly for packing. Leaving tomorrow a little after wake-up call.
Strange dreams - my old hairdresser (who was a couple years older than me, impossibly cool, and the friend of a friend) dating an old friend and me and L. following them around and ending up in the wrong place at the wrong time, me seeing Lorie (hairchick) topless in a cowboy hat and red metallic vinyl hot pants... danger danger... more funny than frightening, but there was weird shit nonetheless.
I forgot to mention that I got my package from KittyM yesterday. Three books, weighty academic feminist tomes: one about anorexia, one about women and drugs, one copy of Class Matters by bell hooks. I read the essay on the politics of poverty and simplicity: it was interesting, but I think it barely scratched the surface of the issue. There is something else I forgot to mention, too, but I cannot recall what that is.
Talking to Autumn, who is making pirate noises, and must get my booty in gear for the rest of the day. Packing for two days is actually obscenely EASY. Need to dye my hair, too, if I remember to do it.
