My mother has been home for approximately two hours and already I have retreated into my room to avoid her. Why? Dude, she's just being nasty. T. was here until 11:30 and felt sorry for me. Or concerned or something. I don't know. It's amazing how quickly I can go from a good, comfortable mood into agitation and irritation.

I'm going to finish my current run of laundry in the basement, then continue hiding in my room, reading and finishing my job application. It's a lifestyle.

I remember hiding from mama. Books became my best friends. Actually they still are, to this day, and mama is long gone.
