Happy happy happy birthday to nadja!

This has been The Boy's weekend; I've hung out with him every night. Friday night we did stuff around my house. Boxes were moved, heads were examined. Found out that 2/3 of "my" boxes that I'm supposed to go through are actually my mom's. Saturday night, we went to dinner and tried to go to the Kopaz/Tiara show but couldn't find parking, so just went back to his place and hung out. Sunday, I dozed on the sofa a lot & took care of the dog until 8, when I started watching TV and eventually Boy showed up to watch with me and we had dinner. Tomorrow we're going to finally try to make it to Triplets of Belleville.

Dog problems today; she pooped on the floor, and I was very unhappy with her. It's frustrating that the more attention I pay to her, the worse she behaves.

I got a LMAO from Nervousness in the PO Box sometime recently, which reminds me that I need to send mine out!

I'm going to grab my nighttime tea, read The Marriage of Cadmus and Harmony for a while, and hit the sack.

The rest is laundry.

In my experience, spending more time with my dog makes her more, not less, neurotic when we actually leave. I think dogs don't feel more secure just because you spent attention and time with them. I think trainers recommend finding other ways to lessen the anxiety they feel when you leave, like giving them toys to distract them when you leave, so they have something else to do.

Personally, I am getting tired of cleaning dog shit out of my office, my shoes, my carpets, and so on...
