verbminxIt's Ratna's birthday and I hope she has an awesome one! :D I think she's turning 21? (No more borrowed IDs!) I'd use her LJ link but I can never remember how to spell her username. It's the one that starts something like "zi3se4". Go say happy birthday! She's the cutest, sweetest girl ever.
Yesterday was not nearly as much fun as it ought to have been. I still wasn't feeling well, but the momster and I had major cabin fever and hadn't done anything together that wasn't "boring errands" in like a month, so we decided to go out for a few hours. We were out a little longer than I would have liked (more than 2 hours), & didn't go to the movies. We did go to Nordstrom (Kiehl's handcream, clearance pajamas, a Glima shirt I will receive on my birthday in May), Anthropologie (interesting handmade journal that we bought as an exemplar to make our own), World Market (endless stuff, highlights being a desk for mom, ankle bells for me, mead, and lots of food items from England and Japan), and a bookstore (magazines, including the new Interweave Knits and Nylon). By the time we got home, all I wanted to do was go to sleep, but I stayed up until a normal going-to-bed time just so that I wouldn't wake up at like 4AM.
Today I'm going to devote the day to The Boy, since I haven't been able to spend much time with him this week. We'll probably spend part of the day in, and part of the day out... seeing Triplets of Belleville if possible, maybe going to one of the many usedbookstores that dot our fine city. Yay for us. Breakfast and tea first for me, though, and the Sex and the City finale later tonight. Oh, did you see Christina Aguilera on SNL last night? She was actually pretty good... especially in her dead-on Samantha imitation! She was much closer to the actual character she was supposed to be portraying than any of the SNL girls who were in the skit with her.
