verbminxTonight T. came over & we went out and got subs and coffee, and hit the library, where I picked up some reserves & we checked out a few movies. Came back and watched Henry Fool, which was decent, but much longer than I expected. (I can see the reasons for claims of misogyny in this movie, but really it's a larger misanthropy, I think.) We still have Rushmore to watch, and I have My Favorite Year to watch alone. What we noticed at the library - mostly looking at DVDs but also in the VHS section to a lesser extent - is that a whole bunch of bad movies have been made over the years. Ouch.
Then the Dog, who had been behaving sweetly all night, bit the Boy. It was more or less my fault, too. I am no longer going to try to get T. to give her treats, since what she tends to do is take the treat acceptingly and then assume that anyone within twenty feet of her is trying to steal it, accordingly attacking the least familiar person in the vicinity (er, him). Dog bit me yesterday over something else, too. Dog is very bitey lately. Dog went to bed early tonight, due to the fact that she is socially unacceptable. Bad dog.
Have to go to bed in a couple of minutes; I have a doctor's appointment quite early tomorrow morning. I should take out the garbage, but I think I'm just going to take a shower and call it a night.
Big O has the most ridiculously lame theme song of any anime in recent years. "Big O! Big O - O - O, Big O! Big O, Big O, Big O!" Terrible!
