Happy birthday to
somecanuckchick!
Tonight I went to a little club to see a couple of bands with Tom. Headliners didn't show up, and one of the remaining bands' drunken antics led me to describe them as "Tom Green with his own garage band" (but they were entertaining). My back is still bothering me, and we ended up leaving after about two hours. Can go back tomorrow to see the rescheduled headliners, but I don't know if I'll go. I always feel kind of lame at those things because I don't drink a lot and I don't smoke and I don't really like standing around that much; I tend to prefer clubs with DJs to live music, because I like to dance, when I'm in the mood to be out. Maybe will drag dear attentive & tolerant T. out to a club later this week.
Lost my wardrobe anxiety a little though. There isn't much I could do to screw up, honestly. ;) I thought people were being metaphorical when discussing the Pabst Blue Ribbon crowd, as in "the kind of people who go to this are the kind of people who like cheap beer and really aren't noticing what other people wear," but no. It was literal. I was one of maybe ten people in the entire place who didn't have a can of PBR in hand. Jenkies!
Now I'm just winding down, watching Adult Swim, eating vegetarian lasagne, waiting for Witch Hunter Robin to come on in two weeks! (Well, I'm not going to sit here and wait every minute until then. But I've been looking forward to seeing it, and I'm glad they finally announced a date.)
