- got a Swiss Colony gift basket from Lou in the mail! Yay. :) It has shortbread and coffee.
- do you ever have difficulty believing you're an "adult"? I mean, it's not like I feel mature or have much pretense of being mature (though I have learned a lot in the last decade of my life, and I think I can often give pretty good advice). I'm going to be 30 in a little over 2 years! My current potential dating pool has an average age of about 32 or so. A lot of my friends are over 30, and I mean friends I've had for a long time. My best friend HAS A KID and is almost TWENTY-NINE; I remember the movie we went to when she turned 21. My ex is MARRIED. Some of my friends from high school, who I've stayed in touch with, are divorced already. This is so strange for me... I guess I still kind of think of us all as kids. Objectively I know I'm a "woman" and that if someone were talking about me, there's at least a 50% chance that they'd refer to me as "this woman", and in pictures I look like I'm somewhere in my mid-twenties, but to me I'm still a "girl."
