B-cat's surgery is done and he's fine, though he needs to sit around the vet's for a while to come out of his anaesthesia. Meanwhile, we are going to go romp around. Probably hit yet another bookstore. My voracious book-acquisition impulses are being cut off after Christmas. I have two boxes of books I haven't read, at least, so this is perhaps for the better.

I've been up for about four hours (since 9AM). I finished Motherless Brooklyn a little while ago. Run-don't-walk, and all.

My mother is having a "bad day" emotionally, so it should be... interesting... to go out with her. I'm glad the B-cat has put something of a time limit on the trip.

I can't imagine cutting off the book-buying! *ack* That would be painful! I am still having withdrawels from ending the book-buying binges from Amazon.Com. :)

sure! just follow the instructions for joining at user ID "feministas" (scroll down a few entries in my journal and there is more info from this past weekend). i'll check my mailbox every couple of days and add new people. last i checked they didn't have enough instructions up about how communities work, so things are still really slow over there.
