stop whining so much.

also, write more.
also, DO something with said writing. publish or perish. go to slams and open mikes. submit to things. etc.

Hello!

I know it's been forever - first, glad to hear that your move went OK and that you are finally settled in (or really close to being there). I've been writing this review (for my grad school work) that I turned in last Friday so now I will be more present in the LJ land.

Anyways, would you like to write for earlash.com? We need people to do live show reviews and CD reviews. You could also do interviews or opinion type articles. It's all voluntary so it's a low pressure type deal. Also, if you are reviewing a CD, you'll get the said CD for free or if you are doing a show - I'll get you in for free. Whaddaya think?

i think that sounds pretty cool. i need a good excuse to go out more. i mean, can you believe... there was a death cab for cutie show this past weds and by the time i found out about it it was SOLD OUT? meh. and i think white stripes and belle and sebastian are playing around here this month. and there are ALWAYS bands playing at Little Brothers (local indie venue)

and my move has NOT gone well, i have no furniture! well, soon.

glad you're keeping up with the other almost-doctors... ;)

When you have time, send me a writing sample of yours to jelena@earlash.com. I'm gonna pass it on to our editor and then she'll let you know if you're in or not (which you will be - I can guarantee it).

I think I missed the not having furniture bit (oops). I'll go back and read your entries.

I went and saw DFDC last Friday - they were OK, I was not all that impressed. Probably because I don't know their music all that great. I do love Postal Service though - I missed that one because it got sold out.
