This is me, still very awake. Though soon I'll catch at least a few hours of sleep (probably like 8-1).
My legs hurt! I don't know what I did to them, but they're acting up again, and I am having back problems.
Thinking of all the things I need to do. Looking at decorating sites - not that I'll be doing a lot of decorating, but there are a handful of things needed for the house. A dining table, an area rug for the living room, bookshelves, curtains. I really want the Birdy curtains from Urbn.com - I saw them in a store this spring and really liked them, but they've taken this long to show up online. I also want to paint the wall behind my bed, lease be damned. But if I can't I might mount a curtain rod (just four little holes!) and hang some fabric. I'm trying to have a "grown-up" room, not so cluttered and stylistically confused.
There are some issues with bedroom arrangement... the momster is now trying to make me take the other bedroom, the one she initially wanted, because it "faces west" and will be "hot in the afternoon". I think this is basically absurd because, first of all, she will rarely be in it in the actual afternoon (hello! job!) and because this is not florida - how hot can it possibly get in February? Furthermore, for fifteen years I had a bedroom that also faced west AND stuck out on the north end of the house, so it was poorly insulated, freezing in the winter and overheated during the summer. I'm going to be paying rent, so give me a break, mom....
Anyway, I finally got my mailbox working, so I can get mail on this account again. I did not, however, actually read anything or play any games while being up all night. Just looked at house-related sites. & looked for a big-key keyboard for my grandfather (who has Parkinson's & likes to tinker on his computer, but has problems hitting keys accurately), but the one I found was $450... there has to be something easier than that! maybe just a keyguard on a more normal keyboard.
