verbminxI've been having a pretty good day today - quiet, but good.
I had every intention of going to the ceramic-painting place and/or the coffee-type-stuff place next door, but I decided not to. I took a shower and shaved and ended up not feeling like going out. Still PMS-addled, but it isn't bad. I just felt like doing things at home tonight. Setting my world in order brick by brick.
I finished Lullaby quickly, as predicted. It was compelling but the story kind of just... runs out at the end. Still probably worth reading. It's not sold as genre, but it is a horror novel. Next up is The Little Friend by Donna Tartt, which has wildly mixed reviews on Amazon.
There's never anything on tv on Friday night, so probably I'll just put on some music and get to that bricklaying.
