Ah said,
what is everyone else reading? :)
I'm really into Japanese stuff lately! I didn't mention yet that I am also reading Verrillo & Gellman's Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A Treatment Guide and Mary K Greer's Tarot for Your Self (which is actually a workbook).
Also reading lots of short stories by Borges - Jorge Borges - his name is fun to say if you pronounce it in the proper Argentine way (because he was Argentinian). The stories are amazing, and I am so glad to have them all in one place (the Penguin edition that came out last year).
I got a good amount of sleep. Woke up and had bad coffee. Have been sitting online for a few hours, talking to friends and doing some mild damage control regarding that girl who has been harrassing me in email... turns out she's also been ragging on me in online forums I don't even read. No biggie, it's been taken care of, with help from AutumnThought and G. and a few others.
& I am so happy... I didn't really even get upset. A while ago if this had happened I would have been a wreck, crying and having a panic attack over it. This time I just rolled my eyes and dealt with it matter-of-factly, with a little help from my friends. I think the Paxil is really helping me and is also my friend, though I don't want to become dependent on a drug. It's just that functioning with it is so much easier and more pleasant than functioning without it.
I feel a lot better, too... not so achy, more awake. Need to go back to sleep for a while, though, so that I don't start waking up at 11PM every night.
T. thinks I should go to Ireland with him, for fun, but if you have read our bickery conversations that I've posted here, you know that I'd probably Killarney him somewhere, or County Cork him over the head or something. (But don't worry, he's still my friend.)
