Yesterday - more uneventfulness. I'm not high on energy in the last day or two. I read an entire book, though... (Dreaming Pachinko by Isaac Adamson, which I liked). I think aside from packing-like things, of which I did very little, I spent the whole day reading and eating Goldfish Crackers [tm]. (That's not entirely true - I also knitted, did laundry, and accomplished a few other very minor things - but it FEELs like all I did was sit around and read and snack.)

Tonight I could go out dancing - new local thing - but I didn't sleep well, and I don't see myself having the energy to do it.

Still not horribly thrilled with the Tipping the Velvet adaptation, but did you know that the girl playing Nancy is Diana Rigg's daughter? She looks almost exactly like her mother, circa 1965.

Yes, but only because I read an article about her and the series last week. I wanted to see it because it sounded intriguing and Rachel Stirling is so gorgeous (I have the worst crush on young Diana Rigg which has only been intensified by my watching The Avengers on Starz Mystery channel every night now). Unfortunately, We no get BBC America (whinge whinge) and I have no clue it that sort of thing will ever make it to PBS. I mean Victoria cross dressing lesbians?!

the dvds are also available, so it shouldn't be too hard to get from the library or if you joined netflix or something.

I'll definitely read the book -- the story sounded intriguing just on general principle. I should join Netflix eventually. Just because. Thanks for both recommendations, ma cherie.
