i want spoilers for all the movies that look too crappy to sit through but in which i have a vague interest in knowing the ending. for instance... john q? the life of david gale? if they were books i'd skip to the end!

anyway, meme alert.

The Dante's Inferno Test has sent you to the First Level of Hell - Limbo!

Charon ushers you across the river Acheron, and you find yourself upon the brink of grief's abysmal valley. You are in Limbo, a place of sorrow without torment. You encounter a seven-walled castle, and within those walls you find rolling fresh meadows illuminated by the light of reason, whereabout many shades dwell. These are the virtuous pagans, the great philosophers and authors, unbaptised children, and others unfit to enter the kingdom of heaven. You share company with Caesar, Homer, Virgil, Socrates, and Aristotle. There is no punishment here, and the atmosphere is peaceful, yet sad.

Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
LevelScore
Purgatory (Repenting Believers)Very Low
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers)High
Level 2 (Lustful)Moderate
Level 3 (Gluttonous)Moderate
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious)Low
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy)Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics)High
Level 7 (Violent)Moderate
Level 8- the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers)Moderate
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous)Moderate

John Q: The kid gets a heart from the woman who dies before the opening credits. Denzel goes to jail, but just for a couple of years and the public loves him.

I didn't have to see David Gale. Thank heavens.

I didn't see david gale either, but this is from roger ebert's movie answer man column.
"After the hero (Kevin Spacey) is executed for the alleged murder of his fellow death-penalty opponent (Laura Linney), the reporter (Kate Winslet) is devastated at having failed to save his life. Then she receives a video from him. On it, she discovers that Linney, who was dying, committed suicide, aided by Spacey and another activist, who together framed Spacey for the murder to discredit the death penalty."

Hey, I made it to Purgatory! I only scored higher than Low on Level 5 (wrathful and gloomy), and there it was only Moderate. I guess I really am just a really boring person.

Try out: http://www.moviepooper.com (http://www.moviepooper.com)

It has a nice collection of movie spoilers, including a whole section for movies that have just been released. Saves loads of time and money.
