the other side of morning

Yes, I slept through the night, for once. I fell asleep a little after 11PM, woke up a few times because the N-cat was sleeping on me and his little body is like a miniature furnace, but generally managed to doze until a little before 7AM.
I've had coffee-liqueur-flavored coffee (not decaf, so I expect to suffer a bit later), and some McDonalds crap for breakfast.
My mother is being super-nice to me after our fight the other night. & today is St Nicholas Day, so when I woke up there was a present in my shoes (Well, on my chair, as it is a little too big for my shoes). It's a sort of incense box in the shape of a crescent moon, about a foot or so long and at least 6" tall. It has a gold bindi. It's interesting, deep blue with gold accents. Pretty cool.
My copy of Kartia (the Amano-designed RPG I've wanted for months & had a hard time finding) finally arrived today. I'm looking forward to finishing up in my room so that I can actually sit down and PLAY all these PSX games I have. I still have C's copies of FF7 and StarOcean - I have FF7 for PC but I think it will be easier to play on PSX & will probably give the PC version to my mom or something. I also have a loaned copy of The XFiles game from L. that goes with this computer of his. Sad in that I almost never play computer games - I do find things like Oddworld fun and relaxing, and I like adventure games, especially when I'm sick. Which I am.
On the planner today - take mom, who has been up all night, to mall for spa appointment, and shop around. Pick up some needed food & such. Wear warm clothes. Pick up hairdye (Nuclear Red or Hot Lava?), and maybe a new labret stud, since it's been almost two weeks and I can change it starting Friday. Finish Xmas shopping (small things for AutumnThought and for Kittymalicious's hubby - I already have all of Kitty's prezzies).
It's very cold outside, maybe the coldest day of the year.
Time to get rolling!
