sunday sundaes

verbminxI don't have any ice cream, so I won't be having one. I do have all the materials for both valentine chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin spice muffins with cream cheese frosting, so perhaps that will be the indulgence of the night.
Yesterday I hung around the house, mostly. The weather has been particularly cold lately. I sat in the living room, cutting a shoebox down to the right size to be used at my desk. I bought a stationery box at Barnes and Noble for this purpose a few weeks ago, and had to return it because it was much too large; now I'm resizing this box from shoes I got in 1994, and covering it with pricey metallic-marbled art paper. Of which I don't have quite enough! I'll figure something out. I finished covering the box itself, but I still need to cover the lid, and line the whole thing. Then, I will keep all my Japanese stationery and Asian stickers in it. Oh, but I collect too much stuff.
Today is the Super Bore and I will be similarly crafty. & since I haven't posted any really dorky links lately, I leave you with the , which will translate whichever page you enter into either Elvish or Klingon.
