Happy Thanksgiving, you Americans... :)
(um, the rest of you, have a good Thursday.)
I am sitting here with a towel on my head, wrapped in another towel. Getting ready to go out & have dinner this evening. We have been going out for dinner the last 3 or 4 years (I think this is the fourth). We used to constantly have noxious houseguests around this time of year - my stepfather's family - but since he got sick & eventually passed away it's just me and the momster. It's considerably easier and cheaper to buy a tksgvg meal for two in a restaurant than to cook one. But we've been unhappy with the service in the places we've gone to the last few years (things like having reservations made weeks in advance, arriving, and being told they're out of turkey, or having reservations made weeks in advance, arriving, and waiting almost an hour before a drink order is even taken). So tonight it's a restaurant we visit with relative frequency, and just hoping that, since we are going to the casual dining area and not the schmancy expensive dining room, they will still have a proper American Thanksgiving Dinner available.
and, I'm just trying to figure out what to wear.
the clothing rack situation has mostly been rectified... mostly. Mostly. I still have things to do in that department, but at least half my wardrobe isn't on the floor anymore.
