Well, tonight I accomplished some productive things. Just a few. The insomnia is kicking me right now; either I sleep too much or not at all, and either way my days are not in order. After being productive I cleverly made muffins. Pumpkin Spice. From a Williams-Sonoma quickbread mix, so it's not like it was taxing. I had some batter left over, so I made little mini-muffins that are about the size of a "donut hole."
I plan to work on my No tonight even though I am perilously behind. I have continued in my researching. When I don't feel like writing I can always read. The book I have been reading is helping a lot with background and character development... reminding me, for example, that astrology was taken as a science in the period.
I have been "helping" B. with the development of his domain and trying to convince him that his background should be done in vector graphics that are converted to bitmaps because oh my god i just SAW YOUR EYES GLAZE OVER. well. Technical webgeek stuff. I'm Highly Trained (erm, sort of). I just don't do much with it. The bg has a lot of curves in it and they're all showing "steps" from being a pixellated bmp image. So redoing it in vector and then converting it should eliminate those steps and make the curves look all smoove.
Hmm... my sock is getting near its toe now. I do about an inch or two per night. I think by this weekend, if I keep working at it, I will have a Full Sock. Then I'll have to make another. Then I'll have made my first pair of socks. And I'll wear them, too.
