Arwen Isobel went on her first car trip tonight... to the laundromat, Target, and WalMart. Somebody stayed in the car with her or walked her when the other person was in the store. Mostly I stayed with her. She was kind of scared for a while... especially by loud noises... and spent a lot of the ride curled up on my lap. But for the last 45 minutes or so she was alone in the back seat, and she did fine, just resting, with her squeaky lamb and her chewy rope bone. I took the occasion to work on my sock. Mmmm, socky goodness.

I have a splitting headache this evening. I hadn't eaten much... we made a food stop. I'm still not feeling great, though. There was some kind of contaminant in my area yesterday; people who went to the beach were getting sick. I live pretty close to the beach. The momster also has a headache. However, although I know coughing was a symptom of the problems people were having, I don't remember whether headache was one of the symptoms.
