verbminxSlept through the night, for once... well, I did wake up around 7:30, but was able to get back to sleep after a while, and I woke up a bit after 12:00.
I've been up and bumming around; Swing Kids is on, but I'm not watching it because I've seen it a few times (including in the theater), and because it's depressing. Checked up on news. I'm about to make some tea and then hop in the shower so that we can go out shopping.
I like shopping the day after Thanksgiving - I like the bustle and the cheeriness. I don't have much in mind to buy, except that I want to buy Sabriel and Weetzie Bat for my cousin who is 13ish and in eighth grade; I think she will like both. She reads a lot but it's mostly crummy series books. (I read a lot too, and though I did read the same type of series books, they weren't all I read. I think I will also get her a couple of Philip Pullman books, and some for my other cousin Caitlin.)
so that's the plan. Mum is cranky and it took a lot of work to wake her up. We'll see how the day goes.
