cold head, warm feet

verbminxStill feeling ook (fever of about 100.5F), but my productivity today is as such:
- knitted 1" of first sock in circular K1P1 rib. (this is a pain-in-the-ass stitch, and my left hand is cramped up... :) Finally using my Skacel Fortissima Colori Fairisle yarn. Rock.
- watched Dragonslayer. i could write an essay on the reasons why I think that's head and shoulders above just about all the other fantasy movies of the early 80s, but I'll spare myself and everyone else. I think its structure is really good and its characterization of some characters stronger than many movies of the same kind. I like the setting. In most of the shots, the dragon effects are excellent, for the period (it helps that Vermithrax is seen mostly in low-lit and smoky areas). The two female characters are both strong. Etc etc.
Oh, two bracelets are sold - the ladypillar (will get back to you soon, Laura! it's yours!) and the silver rainbow. The green and blue one isn't sold yet, but I think I am going to keep it for myself. :)
and my Tori cd isn't here... damn Amazon, they used to ship these things so that they'd arrive on the release date, now it seems they ship them on or after the release date. *sigh*
