verbminxOK, the painkillers in the ointment I used seem to be working, and the Bad Spot is starting to hurt less. Hot damn, I am not touching this bandage until it falls off and flaps in the breeze.
I had to go out after all, ostensibly to look for a silly little beading tray (it's made so you can lay out designs). NOBODY around here seems to have them anymore. Very very annoying. I went to the craft store and I went to WalMart (hate! hate!). Picked up a few more small supplies at the former, and some groceries at the latter, and... erm... I bought a discount computer game (The Crystal Key) for the momster to play on her iBook, and... erm... thespecialeditiondvdofmontypythonandtheholygrailcoughcoughdebtcoughcough.
Now I am home again, slapping my arm and sobbing. Ow. Ow. Ow.

Date: 2002-03-16 10:15 pm (UTC)i think i am just suffering for my art. it'll be OK. i have a scar on my other wrist from a burn there when I was 10 (I got it caught in a grocery store checkout conveyor belt!) - so if worst comes to worst I'll have matching scars. *groan*
