I talk too much.
It's raining. Fingers tapping gently on the windows and the roof, voices whispering against the walls.
I listened to Madonna, Ray of Light, and Cocteau Twins, Blue Bell Knoll.
I lifted handweights for a few minutes, and danced around, to "Skin" and "Frozen" on Ray of Light, my two favorite songs on that album, though I like all of it. I took all my vitamins and yeast-buster pills.
I cleaned out the main food cupboard in the kitchen, getting rid of some seriously outdated dry goods, making room for most of the newest food I've bought (like the backlog of corn chips, which I know will be my major snack in the next few months). I did some dishes and cleaned up around the sink and gathered up the empty shopping bags that have been accumulating in the kitchen the past few days. My dad said I would feel better if I put them in a giant garbage bag rather than just letting them sit around until I get to taking them to be recycled. He is right; if I didn't cram them into a large bag, I would be turning into a latter-day Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout, and going quite mad in the process.
I need to sleep for at least a few hours before my appointment. My eyes are tired. Blue Bell Knoll just ended and I can hear the rain more clearly, wet plops on the ground and all... rain always makes me feel, um, drained. (no pun intended.)
