verbminxI slept a lot today, with my new Body Shop hemp eyemask thingie. It has canvas on the outside and a soft terrycloth against my skin, and it's washable, unlike the last one. I loved my old lavender-filled sleepmask from Origins, but I had to give it up because I had an eye infection a few months ago and couldn't wash it. It was silk and velvet and I miss it.
I also took oscillococcinum and vitamin C and drank a lot of echinacea tea. I'm not feeling my best ever, still weak and sinusy, but it's a vast improvement over yesterday. Whatever was bothering me must have been a 24-hour thing.
And tonight was the Buffy premiere! made my heart smile. I watched a first-season rerun on FX before the new episode, and the contrast in Willow was so shocking. As someone else has said, tonight's best line was Spike to Giles: "Your life just passed before your eyes, didn't it?... cuppa tea, cuppa tea, almost got shagged, cuppa tea..."
also, the National Review fired Ann Coulter's creepy bitch ass.
