Jul. 6th, 2005 01:29 amOff to sleep! I was curiously exhausted all day today; I think I overdid it this weekend. So all I was able to manage today was heating up dinner (which almost caused me to have to take a nap), taking care of Arwen, and riding to the library to return some stuff (yeah, I had to have someone else drive).
I'm alarmed because my face, neck, and upper chest area is covered with small reddish bumps... not quite pimples, not quite a rash. Started a week ago on my chest. No idea what's causing it. I think the bumps on my face (different in number/texture/density from the ones on my chest) may be caused by a cream I've been sampling, Aveeno Skin Brightening Moisturizer. I had a similar reaction to L'Oreal Transformance, and I think it's because of all the mica they put in these creams to make them "brighten." It just makes the skin more reflective. The last time I recall my temples and forehead being this broken-out was the summer of 1991. At the time I quit using Clinique products, thinking they were the culprits, although now I don't think they actually caused the rash. Lots of tiny red bumps, some with whitish centers. Mostly I'm just leaving them alone.
I screened all comments to my last post... not because of what anyone else said, but because of some comments I made to a friend that I do not wish to become controversial. I can think of at least two different groups of people who might take issue with some of them. A lot of them are things I've said in other contexts, and will say again in other ways, so nobody's missing anything.
