I'm watching the Grammy Awards, which I normally avoid... but I'm kind of enjoying them. Eeek! Prince with Beyonce - so hot! I thought of ana and ciaraxyerra while they were on, because both of those ladies love Prince. Does Prince's portrait sit next to David Bowie's in that attic? (Serious Dorian Grey action.) Coldplay just won song of the year, for "Clocks" - incidentally, my cellphone ring. I'm very happy for them; they had strong competition and I didn't think they'd win.

Went to the Social Thing last night, which consisted of me in a bar with five comic book pro guys (including The Boy). And walking like five blocks to get there, in the cold. And drinking Pepsi because I almost never drink anything stronger anymore. & going to Friday's afterwards for mozzarella sticks, which ended up not being very good. A nice evening overall, though. I don't often get to sit around a table and talk about Futurama, Sex and the City, and comic books. I also don't often sit in a chair k-i-s-s-i-n-g while watching Teen Titans.

Had trouble sleeping and as a result, got up early this morning but napped for a few hours this afternoon. I feel very zombiefied, cancelled all my plans for this evening (which involved playing Pump It Up! at an arcade). Have been accomplishing nothing but laundry, & getting my feather-bed on my bed. I've missed it because the bed isn't soft without it. Low-key day. Talked to my mom; she is going to be in Cleveland for at least a few more days. My grandfather says he'll be out of the hospital by Wednesday but my mom says it'll probably be a few days longer than that. My grandfather - I have contradictory feelings for him, because I think he was an awful parent (which has had far-reaching negative effects on my life and the lives of all my cousins), but in my memories he is a lion of a man. He's frail now. Anyway, I'm driving to a meeting point sometime in the next few days, to take my mom some extra clothes, since she didn't really pack enough.

Hey, Ozzy's on... he's looking pretty good for a guy who was in such a bad accident a few months ago.
