Two fabulous links for you!
Dec. 23rd, 2002 04:10 amIn capsule, tonight I saw The Two Towers again, because I was so tired and uncomfortable the other night that basically I didn't remember much about it. It's not bad. The pacing is a little screwy. I was uncomfortable again tonight because my right eye is irritated - the lower lid, not the eye itself, but the lower lid where it touches the eyeball. I've flushed it and given it drops and nothing has helped, so I hope it will get better overnight.
Anyway, in keeping with the theme, here are two dweeby-yet-hilarious links for you guys:
(the second comes from the first, and the first also has a really great movie linked - the Bogart/Dietrich thing - but I'm not going to link it because it's a huuuuuuuuge download.)
LOTR parodied in many other literary styles (horoscopes, Scooby Doo, Sherlock Holmes, Encyclopedia Brown, Stephen King, Chaucer, Eliot, Dante, The Simpsons, The Onion, and on and on...)
Monty Python's 15-Minute Silmarillion - too funny for words, though it helps to have some familiarity with the book in question. Almost as good as Reduced Shakespeare Company.
