full of fulling!

Bag is felted! (Well, actually, fulled, but what the heck ever. Although what was done is technically "fulling", in the US the term is used interchangeably with "felting"... "fulling" is when you do the felting on a pre-constructed yarn-knitted project.)

It's, um, much smaller than it was. I ought to have taken "before" measurements. I did take "before" pictures.

Not so sure I love it, but... we'll see when it dries out. Then there will be "before" and "after" pics. Yeah.

la. dee. duh.

Today I got up and I ate a salad and gnocchi in a tomato sauce with broccoli, which was very good, even though I don't normally like my pasta to have very much squishy stuff in it (ravioli florentine = yes, stuffed shells = no). Palled around with the dog, sympathized with the cats, watched Friends reruns.

Put on Harry Potter in the evening, gearing up for next week.
At the moment, gearing up for tomorrow's concert... playing with my hair. & spending the majority of the rest of the evening on the hair and on my No.

I got some yarn in the mail today, that I'd ordered... it's very strange. It has a papery strip wrapped through it that I totally didn't expect. I'm trying to figure out what to make of it. I think I'm one ball short of a heavy pullover, so it might be something like a tank with armwarmers. Cool yarn, though.

The felted bag STILL isn't dry. I sprayed it several times with Angel so that it would smell more "good" and less "wet sheep".

two illustrators I like a lot. I have a Fulvimari postcard that I might use as the Starlust splash page for a bit. I did scan it last night but it's only a .tif at the moment. (and hey vignoche - at annasui.com/tees there is a fulvimari tshirt design of two cute flappery girls & it reminded me of you... :)
