(no subject)

tired! i got a lot of sleep last night, about 9 hours, but it was fitful because i was having strange dreams. i owned a tiny laptop computer with power problems, and the best way of powering it was to pack it with a couple of bugs and a couple of small fish; then it would work for 30 days, though replacing the fuel would be really gross. There were other less-efficient ways. I had bug and fish friends who were willing to help but after three days I couldn't stand to touch the thing and was wandering around begging people to get the things out for me. I couldn't find anyone willing to do it.

I went out and picked things up yesterday - some stuff I needed from the craft store, and some packing materials so I can FINALLY ship out some items that I have been wanting to send to my friends and my dad. (you know... really late Christmas presents?) Then almost went to a movie, but the rain got too bad so we turned 'round and went to the grocery store, where I felt like falling over. Home after that.

Last night we watched Shadow of the Vampire... "art up the butt" indeed. It wasn't bad - the acting was particularly good - but it was sort of stop-and-start, not well-and-smoothly-developed. After that we started watching the bad anime that I rented, which got better as it went along but doesn't show any signs of greatness whatsoever (um, the battle scene was kinda cool?)
