Apr. 28th, 2001 12:41 amToday has been a relatively productive day, or at least felt like one. I went out and got food from the Hawaiian place, and did some laundry.
I eventually fell asleep last night after using the Evil Percussion Massager on my back and shoulders and neck, and sleeping on a heating pad (microwaveable - not electric - no chance of burning self while sleeping). I think I got about six hours or so of loglike slumber. Amazing.
Apparently N-cat woke my mom up this morning right after I went to bed, by knocking an entire glass of water over on her. He does it by trying to stick his nose in the glass. So she had to strip her bed and wash every single layer... so I had to wait a while to start my laundry. I filled in the blanks doing around-the-house stuff.
I also started randomly reading Naked, by David Sedaris, which is a bunch of essays (so you don't have to read them in order). my favorite so far was "I Like Guys", but "C.O.G." was also pretty entertaining. That David Sedaris, he's an amusing fellow.
The last two things I was awaiting arrived in the mail today... a knitting book Autumn recommended and some Utena manga posters. Credit card is under lock and key. Meanwhile, I see that some swanky person hit my Amazon wishlist. I'm not going to wager a guess, but thanks in advance, mysteryperson.
Trying to decide whether or not to go see SARK next week at a bookstore about an hour or so away. I didn't really get into the book she's out promoting, but I like some of her others. I guess I will have to see what kind of mood I'm in that day. But I should go... how often do authors I like come to this area? Especially the week of my birthday?
