(no subject)

Did not find the gloves in the car... have not seen the gloves anywhere. I looked in a bunch of places, including some rather arcane ones. They've just wandered off somewhere and will be found someday while I'm in the process of being less of a slob. You have no idea. *sigh*

Now I am starting to get to a moment of anxiety in packing, but it's because I don't know what NOT to pack. I have too much. I really only need 3-4 of everything, since I'm staying in a house that has a washer and dryer; I'll probably take extra socks and undies though. I'm just at a loss for what to take, otherwise. Really confused. I guess it's better to have too much than not enough, but it's still difficult in its own way.

Yeah, I definitely need to get rid of more things when I get home.

This wouldn't hold up anywhere more metropolitan than where I am, probably, but here I am cutting edge, and somewhere else... well, probably somewhat less so. Weird, though. I knew I was odd but not... odd enough to study. I even had that Evian atomizer can in the early 90s. *twitch*

Packing is going OK. I'm dicking around more than I should be, but I think I finally have a handle on what to take. Talked to T. and he was like "So if you take too much, you take too much! No biggie! Take another suitcase full, it doesn't matter!" And he kind of had a point. So while I am trying to be good about weeding things out... I also am going to stop obsessing over it. Suitcase is more than half packed... it has a lot in it but I need to actually arrange the stuff! & if I forget something, I can always pick it up on Friday.

Deeeeeeep breaths. I need to go to sleep soon, too. :)
