I have to explain, first, that at the moment I'm still pretty sick; I'm starting to cough more, and everytime I've blown my nose since Wednesday morning, there's been a little bit of blood on the tissue. However, I don't have a high fever, so what I just saw while flipping channels is probably the real deal.

A movie called...

Leprechaun in the Hood. Starring Warwick Davis (Hollywood's favorite little person) and Ice T. Made in 2000. Yet another in the string ofLeprechaun horror movies. Something about a magic flute and some rappers.

I hope I will not spoil the movie for you by telling you that it ends with the Leprechaun doing a rap, with a 3-Ho chorus backing him up. It goes:

"Lep in the hood,
Up to no good!"

and so on.

The mind boggles.
Still sick, but feeling considerably more human than I have most of this week. It's moved from my sinuses to being lightly in my chest, so while I'm coughing a lot, it's not a very bad cough, and I have a lot more energy than I have in the past few days.

I'm making a lot of headway in Miss Wyoming, which I hope to finish tonight... so far it's a lot better than Girlfriend in a Coma, but not as good as some of Coupland's others.

I liked American Psycho overall but I think a knowledge of the social commentary and satire the filmmakers were attempting is necessary. Maybe a little too subtle. Also, Reese Witherspoon was miscast and seemed too young for her role.

Also saw Mansfield Park yesterday... Austen adapted yet again, an OK way to while away a few hours, but no great shakes.

I'm going to get back to my book and to watching Red Dwarf... toodles.
