oy gevalt!
Jan. 25th, 2001 01:33 amThis has been such a slow day. I can't breathe and my head is foggy and my eyes hurt, so all I could really do was sit in front of the TV... reading was giving me a headache and scrambling my brain. Tea is my friend, tea and Lots of Liquids.
I watched A Fish Called Wanda, various cartoons and TV shows, the end of the movie Tempest (Molly Ringwald's big break! 1982!), Ed, The West Wing (which I find kind of sanctimonious and schmaltzy sometimes), Once and Again, and The Frisco Kid, a movie in which Gene Wilder plays a Rabbi sent from Poland to serve in San Francisco, but has to get to SF first, and does so with the help of gunslinger Harrison Ford. Except for some swearing, it was practically Disney. I have not watched TV as much in one day (let alone one WEEK) in months. It was sooooooo slow.
Also got through to AppleCare about getting the iBook fixed. They're shipping a new adapter to us which should be here this week; hopefully this will solve the problem! All my bookmarks for my Art History paper are on that computer, so I'm itching to get it back!
Time to go drink some mint tea and stuff tissues up my nose. Ciao!
