Nov. 22nd, 2000 03:41 amWent to sleep for a while after my last entry, dreaming of the news that I heard in the background. A small, smiling sort of snake called a Ki that burglars would throw at you to distract you while they rob you blind. Many recounts, and free taco bell meals for the counting volunteers! Etc. I think I woke up around 11:30 because there was a terrible smell (an air freshener my mom was using to which I am sensitive), and because the TV in the next room was loud and my mother was on the phone with my aunt in the kitchen.
Sat around reading Richard E. Grant's film diaries, With Nails, and "watching" Dogma and then Ocean's Eleven. Then ate onion-sauteed potato&cheese "'Rogies", which are miniature pierogies. They were just passable, possibly because I thawed them in the microwave rather than by boiling them in a pot on the stove. Pierogies cooked that way are one of my favorite foods, but this was questionable.
Until a moment ago my little N-cat was curled near my feet, but the B-cat, insouciant as usual, decided that it's His Turn, so N-cat wandered off elsewhere to sleep, and B-cat has settled into the same spot. They both have their charms, but N is my cat, and I rarely actually see him anymore.
I'm tired... I'm either going to work on my tarot flashcards, or I'm going to go back to sleep. My fever is back up to almost 101, too. (It was only 99 earlier this evening.) I can't do much but sigh and take my pills.
