It took us forever to get on the road today, because everywhere we went there were accidents and closed (major) roads and massive traffic jams. Took an hour to make the normally 15-minute drive across town. We didn't reach our destination until 6PM. I was really tired of being in the car by then.
I found pants. Yay! I took care of some makeup exchanges (stuff I got and never used at my makeover in December had to be exchanged, because my haircolor has changed so drastically), and got more of the basics (foundation etc). Decided that I'm old, because I went to Snot Topic looking for something specific and got a headache and had to leave after a very short time (and also after noticing ten-year-olds gazing with pure awe at the hairdye rack, which was just... odd). The mall is not very interesting and I didn't even really feel like shopping. But I did need those pants.
Later in the evening I bought a book on how to write comic books, and a book of Elvgren pin-up posters (two of which will be hung in the bathroom, so as it looks more put-together-like), and the newest issue of Permission magazine, which is not as interesting as the old version of same but which is better-designed.
& I am really sick to my stomach right now. gah. but we are home, and the weather was not too horribly horrible. I think I may have caught what the momster was sick with yesterday... though I hope not.
