verbminxI actually got up at a decent time today (after a reasonable, not-excessive amount of sleep), but it was a slack day around here. We sat around in pajamas and watched TV and read and ate a boring dinner. Saw The Road to El-Dorado, which I didn't hate (the main girl had HIPS! and it was amusing in a fluffy way). Watched the usual TV shows.
I dyed my hair. Unfortunately the dye I chose didn't have enough lift on the roots, or much effect on the rest of my head. It doesn't look bad, but the roots are more strawberry blonde than the level 10 Ultra Light Translucent Golden Blonde or whatever that I chose. & my hairdresser explicitly told me to avoid ash shades (so I avoid green hair). I'll see what she says at my appointment later this week.
I tried on my new pink shoes and the tongue fits somewhat strangely. Oh well... if they don't work out, they only cost $7. I'm going to try to wear them regardless of the odd hourglass-shaped tongue, because they really are fantastically ugly-cute. I'll even post a picture one of these days.
Going to go to bed, going to read until I'm ready to go to sleep. We don't have any snack food in the house and it's making me twitchy! I'll have to go to the grocery store tomorrow. I miss having apples, and spinach dip, and other yummy things.

BRIGHT fluorescent pink, and maroon, crinkle vinyl, half-bowling-shoe and half high-tech running shoe. with translucent pale-grey bottoms. astounding. i still haven't decided what to wear them with yet. maybe the bright pink sweater i bought a little while back. ;)
