So much for breaks. The finger seems to be feeling better, tho i'm trying to avoid typing with it.

i started my period, though. is this a cause for celebration 'cause i'm healthy enough to have it and am not pregnant or dismay that i'm going to be moody and messy and in pain in the near future? (and for anyone now or in the past who wants/ed to be pregnant, i guess it would also be a cause for dismay, huh?)

talked to autumn's m earlier, which was nice, 'cause he is a cool boy & we have similar types of sarcastic wit... it's always fun to talk to someone who Gets It like that. & we hadn't talked in a while.

listening to quiet music, and heading for bed now. i don't always enjoy my own skin or my life, but i'm pretty content with being ME this week. there are things that can be improved, especially situationally. but at the moment i'm not a particularly unhappy critter. there are ways to enrich even a shuttered life, and make it pleasant.

hehe... thanks. but i think it might be the mix of hospital-strength aleve and arthritis-strength tylenol talking. i can't actually FEEL much of the bad stuff. i'm sure i'll be pretty fucking miserable tomorrow. but most of the time so long as i am enjoying myself and not counting the hours after i get up because i want to go to sleep again (which is what happens when i'm bored) i can deal and i'm pretty chipper. :-D
