i didn't take ambien tonight. and i haven't been able to get to sleep. i have a cozy bed and a snuggly little N-cat. no dice.

we have a cable guy coming in the late morning or early afternoon to restore the cable to my bedroom that they accidentally cut off a couple of days ago. i really really don't want them to come into my bedroom - it's super-messy, and basically only I can step my way to a clear path without damaging anything. I figure - the mess they made by cutting the wire was outside, so they should be able to fix it outside... right?

argh.

thanks for the wellwishes. i'm not really up to replies right now. or reading other ppl's journals. i'm sorry. i'll try to get back up to speed in the next few days. it's been a rough week.

and p.s. you could just move all the stuff temporarily into another room while they're there.

LOL... no, no I couldn't have. :) the entire bed and floor were covered with things, with a narrow path that involved stepping over and around a few things that I wouldn't trust anyone else to navigate. "moving the stuff" would have meant moving basically my entire room into another room. hehe.

But it's all good. they didn't need to come in or anything. whee.
