Here is Mr ScaryBabyHead. I paid $5 for him in a thrift store. He was a must-have. Haven't yet decided what I'm going to do with him. Enjoy!

hehehe. heeee

I am like that with dolls and other scary things. I don't think I ever grew up because I have some little kid fears- I am very jumpy about walking across dark rooms, and I cant hang my feet over the bed. also I sleep with my back towards the wall because I am not 100% sure that something won't grab me. I am both fascinated and repelled by scary things. People sometimes love to scare me because its easy to do- they like to chase me around and make me shriek or tell me scary stories. It may have something to do with being somewhat gullible or imaginative? I used to have this snow white doll... i had to keep her in the hallway because I couldnt stand her looking at me. sometimes I would stare at her to make sure she wasnt alive.

My friend's mom actually made dolls... so the anatomically correct bodies and the little glass eyeballs would be sitting around in boxes. SO CREEPY.

oooh i have all kinds of stories like that. like, my uncle made these puppets for christmas one year, in the likenesses of various family members... and the puppets were known to like move their eyes when only one person was around to see it. they were really creepy and my grandmother kept both hers and my grandfather's in her bedroom, and it used to be my guest room when staying over.

also, my cousins had a tshirt with the Mummy on it when i was a little kid, a glitter transfer, and I was TERRIFIED of it. auuuugggggghhhhh!!!!!

he used to be an artist. he and his wife lived in the boonies in Ohio and had big dogs and a strange old house and made art stuff and fought a lot. i think his degree is in art or something, tho i know he was a high school counsellor after college....

then he got divorced and remarried and has a houseful of kids now in the burbs and doesn't do much art stuff at all. sigh.

I don't like puppets (understatement) Ironically I LOVE muppets, but just plain puppets are evil- like marionettes. I remember seeing puppet shows as a little kid, a touring puppet show company would do shows for us... and in this one show we all sat in a circle, while these horrible marionettes pranced around way too close to us, jumped around wildly as if they were posessed. The puppeteers thought that would be cute or entertaining- it was like the puppets were alive. I hate the way they move-kind of stuff but kind of realistic... i dont even like Pinocchio

horrible.
